It’s easy to do, but you need to be patient, because it takes 7-10 days to get your starter ready to use. Put all ingredients (except 1 cup of water and the Agar-Agar powder) in a high speed blender and blend until very smooth. Add one cup of filtered water and the Agar-Agar powder to a sauce pan and heat it up. Stir continuously until boiling. Oat meal buns GF/DF (serves 10)

Put the dough on a flour dusted surface and make a roll. The dough is a bit sticky, but try not to add more flour to the dough since the buns then tend to get dry. Instead cover your hands in flour while you work with it. Cut the roll in ten pieces and roll them into balls which you flatten with your hand after you put them on a parchment covered baking tray. Almond Butter (makes 3 cups/700g)

Homemade almond butter is easy to make, if you have a high speed blender, and is 100% natural. You need: Heat the oven to 350 F/175 C. Put the raw almonds on a baking tray and roast for 15-20 minutes. Always use unsalted roasted almonds. If you don’t roast the almonds you need to add oil, otherwise the butter will be very dry.
